Teko Telecom Low Power Remote Unit has been developed precisely to meet indoor/in-building coverage requests. Due to its design, it is the perfect solution to be used in location such as company offices, high-rise buildings, shopping malls and exhibition centers. Indeed, in many cases a traditional coaxial based distribution approach can cause problems (installation problems due to the consistent diameter of the coaxial cables, non balanced coverage design, etc.), so the RoF concept can solve many issues, due to its own advantages, like the low attenuation, the negligible dimension of the fiber optic cables, higher signal quality. This way it is possible to reduce infrastructure and site development costs.
Configuration options
Low Power Remote Units can be Single or Multi-band, with different combinations of frequency bands; up to 5-band Remote Unit for EU market and up to 6-band Remote Unit for US market: 5-band EU LP RU: 800/900/1800/2100/2600 MHz ; 6-band US LP RU: 700/800/850/900/1900/AWS MHz.
