Sirius

Sirius is Teko Telecom versatile, modular, multi-technology platform designed to offer flexible and reliable access to wireless communication services in any environment.

Sirius is suitable for both Modular Repeater and active DAS (distribution antenna system) configuration, managed by same MU (Master Unit) and OMC (Operation and Maintenance Center) UNIQUE SYSTEM WORLD WIDE. Modular Multi-band and Multi-operator configuration. Sirius MU (master unit) manages simultanously all different output power classes.

Modular design and transparency to protocol and modulation make Sirius unique in providing the most comprehensive range of multi-band multi-operator solutions for indoor and outdoor cellular coverage and capacity distribution.

Modular design
Sirius modular design offers flexible configuration options to build the most suitable answer to any coverage need: the wide range of Sirius active and passive components can be assembled in a variety of ways in order to provide scalable, flexible and future-proof Coverage Systems, operating in the 380 to 2700MHz frequency range, with different frequency combinations and different RF power levels (Low, Medium, High and Very High).

Stand-alone Modular Repeaters, Optical Systems (Active DAS) as well as integrated coverage solutions can be easily obtained by the proper combination of Sirius components.

Protocol and modulation transparency
Transparency to protocol and modulation, including TETRA, HSDPA, HSUPA, EV/DO, EV/DV, LTE, make Sirius easily adaptable to any band, output power and network topology to meet present needs and to allow system adaptation to changing conditions, e. g. re-sectorisation, addition of other operators or new services.
When the need for upgrades arises in an existing system, the addition and the re-combination of Sirius components provide a fast and cost-effective response to meet the new requirements, always assuring optimized performances.

Control and management
The control and management of the coverage solutions provided by Sirius is performed via a Supervision Module, supporting any system configuration.

The Supervision Module makes OMT web pages (Operation Management Terminal), a user-friendly web-based graphical interface, available for an easy set-up and a reliable management of a whole Coverage System.

Teko Telecom proprietary OMC (Operation and Maintenance Center) software is available to monitor and control multiple Supervision Modules, managing different Coverage and Capacity Systems in a Network.
