The Supervision Module (TSPV) allows the control and management of all the Coverage Solutions provided by Sirius: it supports any system configuration and is able to manage an entire Coverage and Capacity System, including up to 13 Active Subracks and up to 144 Remote Units.
The Supervision Module is equipped with:
a) an Ethernet port;
b) a Webserver (HTTP/FTP);
c) an SNMP Agent (trap, get, set);
d) an OpenVPN Client;
e) a Wireless Modem with the possibility to send SMSs (optional);
f) a Battery Back-up with 15 min. autonomy in case of black out (optional).
A whole Coverage System can be accessed and managed simply connecting a PC, either locally or remotely, to the IP address of the System Supervision Module. Communication can be established via:
• a physical connection (Ethernet LAN),
• a wireless modem connection; the wireless modem can be either external or integrated inside the supervision module (option)
• the Internet: the VPN Client, installed on the Supervision Module, provides remote and secure access to the System.
Alarms notification is supported to update operators on the Coverage System status: when a problem is detected alarm notifications can be forwarded via SNMP trap, SMS, e-mail or software configurable dry contacts connected to the BTS/Node B external alarms.
The Supervision Module can also act as an SNMP-agent providing easy integration into upper-level Network Management Systems (NMS).
